Hey, my name is Tim! Ive lived in western North Carolina for over 20 years after moving from Seattle, WA with my family. I grew up in a home that was constantly being renovated. Ive never really did any work of my own mainly because I was a kid/teenager, but Ive always watched and helped in small ways. Little did I know that one day Id be renovating my own home. I later went on to Western Carolina University. Graduated with a social work degree. Worked in that field for three plus years then did a shift into the media world. Ive done photography and videography for many years prior, but decided Ill start doing this full time, (better to make the shift now than later). I do enjoy it, and it plays a part in me sharing how we’ve renovated this 100 year farm house.
My wife’s name is Ellie and our dog’s name is Apollo. We’ve been married for two years now and we’re also on year two of remodeling our home and that has been a journey! We actually bought our home the same month we got married. Which was wild. I created this website to be helpful and to inspire you to build it or do it yourself. I have no background in home renovation other than growing up and seeing my dad do it to the home we lived in, so really we’re learning along the way! We love to travel at least a few times a year, so that’s something we’ll continue to share.
